Direct image-to-pattern conversion runs in your browser. If you choose AI styling, your image is uploaded to our image storage and sent to Kie.ai for generation. We retain the original, generated image and task records so you can return to them. Stored images use unguessable links that can be accessed by anyone with the link; do not upload sensitive images.

Original uploaded photos are not included in cloud projects or exports.

Local drafts and favorites are stored on your device; clearing browser storage removes them.

When you sign up, the application stores your account details and a hashed password.

If you sync a project, its grid, title, colors and progress are stored with your account.

Patterns submitted for publication become publicly visible only after review.

Support requests store the email and message you submit.

Paid checkout, when enabled, is handled by the configured payment provider; BeadColor does not store your card number.

Essential session cookies keep you signed in. Guest exports use an essential browser cookie and server-side records of the browser identifier, project identifier and UTC date to manage the daily free allowance; no account is created.

You can delete cloud projects from My Patterns.
