A larger library, not a new brand.

This page contains the same 221 standard screen values as our MARD 221 chart, with 70 extra codes in P, Q, R, T, Y and ZG. Use the Extensions filter to see just the additions.

02

Check your actual set.

A set labeled 221 does not include the extension range. Retail boxes may contain different subsets, so check the included codes before adding an extension color to a pattern.

03

Keep special effects in mind.

Extension codes may represent specialty finishes. Their HEX values are community screen references, not measurements of fluorescence, transparency or pearlescence. Check the supplier’s actual beads and finish descriptions.

GOOD TO KNOW

Color questions, answered.

Are the 221 base colors changed in this chart?

No. BeadColor reuses its existing 221-color reference unchanged. Only the 70 extension codes are added. The extension values are adapted from MakeBead’s community compilation, with normalized code formatting and identifier-only names.

Can I use all 291 colors in the editor?

Yes. Open Setup in the editor, choose Brand color reference, then select MARD 291 in Brand / color library. Preview and apply the result to use its codes in your pattern and downloads.

Will my beads look exactly like these swatches?

Screen values help you plan a palette. Lighting, your display, bead finish and production batch can change what you see. Confirm your choice with the supplier’s physical color card before ordering.
