Start with beads and a pegboard made for the same size, a small tray, tweezers, good lighting and the ironing paper specified by your bead manufacturer. A simple square board and a limited palette are enough for a first project. Use a printed grid and materials list to check what you need before buying more colors. An adult should handle the iron and follow the instructions for the exact beads in use.

Begin with one compatible set
Choose beads and a pegboard made for the same bead size. A small square board and a limited set of colors are enough for a first project; a full color range and several board shapes can wait. Keep the package instructions because the safe ironing method depends on the exact beads you bought.
Make placement comfortable
